What this is

The Fort List is a local events and community list for Fort Collins, Colorado. It exists to answer one question well: what is actually on tonight, and is it worth going to. We would rather publish a shorter list we can stand behind than a long one we cannot.

Who publishes it

The Fort List is published and operated by Good Rooms Only, based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mail reaches us at:

Where the listings come from

Some events are hosted through The Fort List directly. Many are third-party listings — hosted by the venue or organizer named, not by us. Those are gathered from public sources, and each one links back to the source it came from so you can check it yourself.

Nothing is published automatically. Every gathered listing goes into a review queue and a person decides whether it goes on the list. We publish only what the source actually states; where we cannot confirm a detail, we leave it out rather than guess.

Getting something fixed

If a listing is wrong, out of date, or should not be here, write to corrections@thefortlist.com and we will correct or remove it. Venues and organizers can ask us to take their listing down, and we do not require anything in return. Details change — times move, shows get cancelled — so confirm with the venue before you travel.

Money, and what it does not buy

Where a listing or placement is paid for, it is labelled. Paying does not buy a better position on the list, a review, or removal of anything true. Being on the list is not an endorsement, and a correction is never held hostage to a commercial conversation.
