TERMS OF SERVICE
Agreement
These terms govern your use of The Fort List — this website, the member portal, and the events we run or list. By using the site or joining the list, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. Membership is by nomination and review; we may decline, pause, or end a membership at our discretion, including for conduct that makes a room unsafe or unwelcoming. Browsing public event listings does not require an account.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Give us accurate information and keep it current — an invitation sent to a wrong address is a seat nobody fills. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Events, invitations, and RSVPs
- An invitation is specific to one gathering. It is not a permanent status, a public score, or a promise of future access.
- An RSVP is a commitment to attend. Repeated no-shows may affect future invitations.
- Events may be photographed or filmed for promotional use where disclosed at RSVP and at entry. Tell an operator on site if you do not want to be photographed.
- Venues set their own rules — age, dress, entry, and alcohol service. Those rules apply in addition to these terms, and the venue's decision at the door is final.
Event listings from other sources
Many events shown here are third-party listings: they are hosted by the venue or organizer named, not by The Fort List. Each listing links to the source we took it from, and is reviewed by a person before it is published.
We take care to publish only what a source actually states, but details change — times move, shows get cancelled, venues change their plans. Confirm with the venue before you travel. We are not the organizer of a third-party event and cannot control or guarantee it.
If something on this site is wrong, tell us at corrections@thefortlist.com and we will correct or remove it. Venues and organizers may ask us to remove their listing.
Text messages
We send text messages only to people who have explicitly opted in through their member preferences. Consent is never a condition of membership or of any purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help, or manage it any time in your member preferences. How we handle your number is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use this site to:
- Harass, threaten, or endanger anyone, online or in a room.
- Misrepresent who you are, or share your invitation with someone it was not issued to.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute member information or the list itself.
- Interfere with the site's operation or attempt to access data that is not yours.
Our content
The name The Fort List, the site design, and our written editorial are ours. You may share and link to public pages. Do not copy our editorial wholesale or use our name in a way that implies partnership or endorsement we have not given.
Content you submit stays yours; you give us permission to use it to operate the list — to review your nomination, run an event, or publish something you asked us to publish.
No warranty, and the limits of our liability
The site and the events are provided as they are. We do not warrant that listings are error-free, that the site is always available, or that an event will occur as described.
To the fullest extent Colorado law allows, Good Rooms Only is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts of venues, organizers, or other attendees. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You may stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to operator@thefortlist.com. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms or for conduct that puts a room at risk.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be communicated to members. These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, United States.
